Did you notice the recent hurricane in the Philippines took out power in many areas for a long time?

Well, it could happen here too.

Therefore in your cyclone preparations make sure you include gas for cooking, battery-operated radios for news, and candles and torches for lighting in case there is a ‘post cyclone’ period without power.

And include lots of dry food because frozen food won’t last when there is no electricity!
